Mechanical
Our designers assess the requirements of a project and produce the most appropriate solution for the client’s needs, taking into account usage, budget and environmental factors. Our installation engineers have expert knowledge of a full range of services, spanning heating, plumbing, ventilation and air conditioning. A typical mechanical installation would be project managed to involve a mixture of these elements to meet relevant Building Standards, BREEAM and the clients’ objectives and budget. Our planned maintenance team can then fully support clients once the installation is complete.
We are fully accredited with B&ES (formerly HVCA) and Gas Safe, and are registered with Oftec. All our engineers hold CSCS cards as well as all the relevant registrations for their trades, and receive regular training in health and safety.
Electrical
On a typical electrical contract, we can offer project management, design and build solutions, and a full range of installation services. These can include LV (Low Voltage) distribution including energy monitoring/metering, standard and specialised lighting, fire and refuge alarm services, security services, data/telecoms, and periodic inspection and testing. Our works generally involve a combination of these services to meet relevant Building Standards, BREEAM, and the clients’ objectives and budget. Our planned maintenance team can then fully support clients once the installation is complete.
We are fully accredited with NICEIC and all our engineers are fully qualified to the latest electrical standards. All our engineers hold CSCS cards as well as the relevant registrations for their trades, and receive regular training in health and safety.
Air Conditioning
Air Conditioning technology is constantly evolving and our engineers are continually trained to ensure they are kept up to date with the latest innovations and techniques. Our team can advise on the most suitable air conditioning for a client’s premises, taking into account usage, budget, environmental and legislative factors such as the phasing out of R-22 gas. Our installations incorporate the most up-to-date equipment, such as inverter technology and remote access systems, providing centralised control to the complete air conditioning system via users’ PC’s.
We are fully accredited with REFCOM, and have recognised supplier partnerships with Hitachi, Toshiba and Mitsubishi. All our air conditioning engineers hold valid CSCS cards and appropriate refrigerant handling qualifications, and receive regular training in health and safety.
Planned Maintenance
Robinsons offer a comprehensive and competitive service to our clients, for service and breakdown, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, wherever our clients are located. This includes planned maintenance for gas, oil and LPG boilers, air conditioning systems, and electrical equipment. You can have total confidence in our fully qualified team, trained to industry standards and accreditations, to ensure your equipment is maintained to the highest possible standard.
Performance response timescales are essential when dealing with service and breakdown issues. We will ensure that you have an engineer to site as soon as possible, and that any faults are dealt with in the quickest, most practical and cost effective manner.
We are accredited to ISO9001 standard, a benchmark of our Quality Management systems. All our engineers hold CSCS cards as well as all the relevant registrations for their trades, and receive regular training in health and safety.
Renewable Technologies
Renewable energy solutions are a key part of building design for projects to meet building regulations: The EU 2009 Renewable Energy Directive has placed an obligation on the UK Government to significantly reduce its carbon footprint by 2020 and beyond. We believe that any solutions offered must be the most appropriate response to the client’s needs and the building’s requirements – solutions must be capable of delivering and performing to the necessary levels, while maximising cost benefits.
